Job Description: To provide a single point of contact for the customer/dealer base and provide direct technical support as required to ensure customer satisfaction, machine availability, and product confidence.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, manage and implement key customer site visits and meetings on a regular basis.
• Coordinate and manage Customer and Dealer related enquiries and responses to product related issues with assistance of relevant internal Departments and resources.
• Act as the primary point of contact for both Customer and Dealer related enquiries for the Mining product while utilizing necessary internal Departments and resources to best deliver prompt, reliable responses to Customer and/or Dealer enquiries, concerns or issues.
• Collect and analyze field data and incorporate product improvements to new and existing Mining product.
• Provide support to the Field Representatives during new Mining product commissioning and conduct follow-up meetings with internal Department heads.
• Maintain and implement product improvement processes.
Education and Experience:
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years work experience in heavy equipment (mining industry preferred)
• Understanding of hydraulic and electrical control systems
Requirements:
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD software (Unigraphics/NX preferred)
• Possess strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work multiple tasks at once
• Ability to travel on short notice
